The book completely changed how I think about coaching young players.

After reading this and speaking to David, I went from thinking that coaching was all about drills and instruction to coaching is about an environment that influences player behaviours.

A realistic, fun, game-based environment that rewards players for positive behaviour will never fail in any training session.

Best quote : "Give your players the space to play and to have fun. Promote positive behaviours, such as confidence, dribbling, communication, and teamwork, and above all, inspire creativity and welcome problem-solving."
