When someone tells you it can’t be done, they’re revealing their limits, not yours.
Keep your eyes on your dreams. Stay relentless in the pursuit. Don’t stop until you make them reality.
Thank you @DetroitMercyWBB & the entire coaching staff for an amazing visit! I had such a great time learning more about the program, meeting everyone, & getting a feel for what it means to be a Titan. Thank you for making me feel so welcome! ❤️💙

WORKOUTS VS DEVELOPMENT
There is a difference between Workouts and Development. Development needs to include a Vision and Plan, creating a relationship, emphasis on thE environment you create, On Court Workouts, Film Study, and HONESTY/ACCOUNTABILITY
Luke Ertel highlights from this game, including his clutch, game tying, 3-pointer, up now on Instagram (@JBProductions_).
Kid is absolutely filthy going left or right.

RILEY SUAREZ (2029) – Hamilton Heights HS (Arcadia, IN)
6'1 W/SF | Hamilton Heights Huskies | Indy One EYBL “Riego” 16U (Nike Girls EYBL) @riley_suarez52@IndyOneEYBL
Freshman wing already operating like a featured scorer with varsity gravity. Suarez is a long, multi-level bucket who’s producing at a rate you usually don’t see from a ninth-grader — and she’s doing it while also sitting inside the Indy One EYBL ecosystem, which matters because it’s a “tools + reps” pipeline, not a stat-inflation lane.
EARLY SEASON SNAPSHOT (HS)
Team start: 7–2
Production signal: ~25 PPG, ~6–7 RPG (early-season range based on posted stat snapshots)
Statement performance: 32 PTS, 10 REB (standout impact game)
That’s “freshman leads the room” output, not “promising underclassman.”
WHAT TRANSLATES RIGHT NOW
Size + scoring responsibility
At 6'1 she’s already a matchup problem on the perimeter. She’s scoring through teams, not around them — meaning she’s converting advantage with real physical presence.
Efficient volume
Documented high-efficiency nights (e.g., 14-for-19 FG in a 32-point game; strong short-sample POW week efficiency) show she’s not just taking shots — she’s finishing possessions.
Multi-level scoring profile
Rim/paint conversion + emerging perimeter confidence (made threes in key runs) points to a wing who can score without needing a perfect play call every time.
Rebounding as a wing
Her rebounding isn’t a side note — it’s part of the value stack. She’s cleaning possessions and creating extra ones for a young team.
EYBL context raises the ceiling
Indy One EYBL Riego 16U exposure suggests she’s seeing (or will see) higher-end length/athleticism consistently. That accelerates the growth curve for wings.
DEVELOPMENT TARGETS (NEXT 12–18 MONTHS)
Handle tightening under pressure
Right now: attack closeouts + straight-line drives. Next level: change-of-pace creation and counters when the first lane isn’t there.
Playmaking lift
Assist indicators are modest in the public snippets. Growth lane is turning “scoring gravity” into easy shots for others (skip reads, hit-ahead timing, short-roll decision passing).
Defensive versatility into a weapon
With volleyball timing and length, she has real weak-side contest potential. The next jump is becoming a consistent 2–4 stopper (containment + rotations + discipline).
CONTEXTUALIZED PRODUCTION
Hamilton Heights is unusually young, which increases her usage and defensive attention. That makes the efficiency even more meaningful.
The Indy One EYBL environment likely shifts her role toward “scalable wing impact” — where she must score efficiently, rebound, defend, and punish space against better athletes. That combination is exactly what college staffs look for early.
ARCHETYPE
Long scoring wing with early varsity alpha usage — projects as a two-way wing scorer who can live as a primary option in HS and scale into a high-level play-finisher/secondary creator in EYBL + college spacing.
DCR (DEVELOPMENT CONFIDENCE RATING)
DCR: 92
This is driven by: verified size + immediate varsity production + efficiency signals + EYBL platform alignment. The remaining variance is in handle/playmaking scaling against elite pressure.
@coachbeechum VERDICT
When a freshman wing is giving you 25 a night and still shooting efficient, that’s not “hot streak,” that’s a problem the other team can’t scheme away. The next evolution is simple: tighten the handle, make one more pass earlier, and commit to being the best defender on the floor twice a week. That’s how a scorer becomes a separator.

Just witnessed an AAU coach leave his 2nd unit in in the 4th quarter of a championship game to finish it off. Mind you they were down when the 1st unit was in! And they won! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that done in this day and age. BRAVO! P.S. I’m glad they won the game! 🥰
@WNBA All Star did not disappoint, but this picture was the highlight! Beckham sees these 3 on our TV year round, and for all of us to meet them was dope! @Andraya_Carter @elleduncanESPN @chiney thank you for this moment, we are even bigger fans now🙏🏾 #welovewomenshoops
After a great phone call with @VIPree I am excited to share that I have received a scholarship offer to play at the Univeristy of Illinois Chicago. Thank you to you and your staff for believing in me!
