Trump won’t rule out putting soldiers at your polling place. But Senator Elissa Slotkin of Michigan moved to make sure he can never do it.

Her bill is called the Protect Our Polls Act.

It exists because Trump keeps telling us, out loud, what he intends to do. He's already been asked directly whether he’d send troops to the polls for the midterms, he wouldn’t rule it out. “I’d do anything necessary,” he said.

He’s already sent agents to seize ballots and voter records in Arizona, Georgia, and Michigan.

Since the Civil War, no president has put armed troops between you and your ballot.

Slotkin is making sure it stays that way. Because Trump only wants soldiers at your polling place for one reason -- he’s terrified of losing Congress.

The Trump DOJ wants to strip the American Bar Association’s power to accredit law schools. Their stated reason: “political bias.”

Here’s what’s actually going on. DOJ is currently suing the D.C. Bar to block it from disciplining Jeffrey Clark (recommended for disbarment over his 2020 Georgia election-fraud letter) and Ed Martin (threatened a law school dean’s hiring over DEI). They’ve also proposed a rule letting the Attorney General review bar complaints against DOJ lawyers — including himself — before state bars can even investigate.

And there’s a lot to review. Acting AG Todd Blanche has been referred to the NY Bar multiple times, including by 100+ former judges, over the $1.776B “Anti-Weaponization Fund” and his handling of the Abrego Garcia case. Associate AG Stanley Woodward was referred alongside him. Former AG Pam Bondi faced a Florida Bar complaint over a memo pushing DOJ lawyers to “zealously” pursue Trump’s political goals or get fired — dismissed on a technicality while she was in office, refiled after she left. Trump’s personal attorney Alejandro Brito was referred to the Florida Bar by a federal judge for bringing the IRS lawsuit in bad faith.

This isn’t about bias in legal education. It’s a coordinated effort to disable every institution with power to hold Trump’s own lawyers accountable — state bars, the D.C. Bar, and now the body that accredits the law schools training the next generation of them.

FBI files found on a document sharing website highlight contain “allegations of sexual abuse committed by Donald Trump” against a 13- to 15-year-old victim, according to a reportpublished Saturday.
