We lost a man of great integrity humor and intelligence. Fought valiantly for years against cancer. The finest man I’ve ever know. Rest In Peace Pajim. Obituary posted for James S Mauro. See https://t.co/HqjhZxzcVv
@happiestporch A young man who went to serve our nation and due to his work ethic and skill gets to live out his dream. He will still serve our nation but in the meantime, is a role model to every kid who watches him. A scholar, athlete, leader and gentleman! Tax dollars well spent! Go Eli!
Seeing Eli on stage after he was picked by the Steelers, in Pittsburgh, in his Navy dress blues, knowing that 25-30 of his teammates were there, as well as his family…in his hometown..a Steeler fan since he was in the crib….thats a Movie there!! Ditto for Landon!!
There hasn’t been a better time to be a part of @NavyFB.
- 21 Wins in the past 2 years
- Back-to-Back CIC Champs
- Back-to-Back bowl wins vs P4 Opps.
- 3 Players Drafted in the past 2 years
AND the BEST IS YET TO COME!
Why not Navy?

This Eli Heidenreich moment is wonderful.
The dedication and drive of any college football player is something.
The dedication and drive of someone who plays college football in Annapolis is unmatched.
Those young men are, no hyperbole, the best of us. And willing to die for us.
Our first conversation about going pro, Eli said “tell them I’ll only go to the Steelers” 🥹😂 @EHeidenreich44 I am SO beyond proud of you!! You did it!!!! There was no doubt in my mind!!
It was a dream come true for @NavyFB slotback Eli Heidenreich, who was picked in the seventh round of the @NFLDraft by the hometown @steelers. Heidenreich was in the green room in Pittsburgh with family and friends when the selection was announced.

"All my best friends in the whole wide world are part of the @NavyFB team."
Hear from the 230th pick in this year's #NFLDraft, Eli Heidenreich.
The Pittsburgh native shares what it means to be taken by the @steelers & represent Navy doing it.
