Wonder how many elite football players got accepted onto the A license with a lot less coaching experience than majority that I see on here with rejections to the course who spend hours every week coaching every level possible just to apply.

Been building towards this since Christmas. Finally we converted our chances!

Only have a quarter of a pitch?

I coached an U16s Category 3 Academy team for several years with limited spaces.

Frustrating.

Some result yesterday. Had a tough season and since coming in around Christmas they have improved in every performance.

It’s good to finally get a result to back the performance up!

RESULT: Eccles United 2nds 4-2 @Heywood_stj_res

That winning feeling! Class to keep grinding after being pegged back twice and best way to see it out is to score another.

Goals: Harry Walsh, Pete Potts, Martin Booth, Luke Tonge

2-0 up, 2-2, 3-2 last 5 minutes to win it. Character in every single way. Building a club is difficult. Coaching lads your own age is difficult. Days like today make it worth every second 🎗

Time to get back to using this account. Improve my coaching and try to learn from others🤓

@gasman180 Makes you wonder how clubs do it. We used to get 16 every week both teams. Injuries have killed us.
Love amateur level, it’s becoming very difficult though

[Ashley Croft Coaching @coaching_croft]

35 at training, 27 available for games.

Group chat with 55 lads for 2 teams. Can’t even get 2 full squads of 16 due to the amount of injuries.
Amateur football, got to love it😂

1 hour session on Tuesday.
- Passing combination and finishing.
- Into a rondo for buildup play.
- Then finished with a bigger rondo and 2 ‘magic’ men.

Onto Saturdays game now and hopefully a win.
