@espn Hopefully, he picks up the picks up the phone and calls Dawn. His actions were directly at her for whatever reason, therefore the apology should be directed to her. He is a amazing coach and love & support his program. Go out with the standard we have experience with UConn WBB.
@RGIII@OuttaPocketRG3 Skipping the post-game handshake was the best move. The real question is: Why is it ok for Geno to say I said what I said instead of taking responsibility for poor professionalism? Now, if Dawn did that last year or responded differently last night…she still the mad black women.
The comment section tells a deeper story and the notion of what black women face in the professional realm. Instead of an interaction between two phenomenal coaches, one is… I'll let you read the comments. You don't have to even go to deep.
Great games in Women's Basketball last night. I was shocked to see the end of game interaction between @UConnWBB and @GamecockWBB coaches.
Dawn keeping the focus on her team's accomplishments was golden!
Competition: Day 3
Most people tend to forget how much competition does for you.
“Competition conquers fear and builds confidence.”
Two talented players need each other… to push each other and chase someone better than you.

Consistency Is the Program
January doesn’t reward intensity.
It rewards consistency.
You don’t need the perfect plan.
You don’t need to train at 100% every day.
You don’t need to overhaul your life in week one.
What actually works is showing up again tomorrow.
Healthy habits are built through repeatable actions — short walks, planned meals, basic strength training, and recovery that fits real life. These are not exciting. They are effective.
Progress comes from the work you can sustain, not the effort you can tolerate for two weeks.
January doesn’t reward intensity.
It rewards consistency.
Start with what you can repeat-not what looks impressive.
Can you go for a walk repeatedly?
Can you sign up for an adults sports league or training club?
What will you do today that you can repeat 3 times this week?
I’ve been getting more questions about ACL injuries and what I’ve been reading for my dissertation.
Most people’s concerns are focused on male athletes but here’s the thing…
Female athletes have higher instances of non-contact ACL injuries.

Unpopular Opinion about Off-Season:
“I need to get in the weight room now.”
Here’s the truth-
Poor off-season recovery destroys performance gains and raises injury risk. If the body doesn’t have time to heal now, athletes won’t be at their healthiest when preseason demands it.
