Working some run game med ball throws, we added a knee aspect to really load that push leg! Got a lot of work to do but my high school guys enjoyed it.

Working the snap hand for centers is paramount. Depending on the off hand is effective but requires turning the shoulders which can put you at a disadvantage. Give this a try and let me know what you think.

Great Sunday tune-up session with these studs:

@RushingBrock : Haleyville High School 2026
Working some mirror techniques, fighting pressure with the torque wheel and med ball. Whether run game or pass game, offensive linemen have to fight pressure. @RushingBrock
Working some pass pro mechanics. We’re not always going to be able to punch the chest of the defender; being able to adjust to whatever movement the defender gives you is key. @lijah18740@RushingBrock@CordPigg
Offensive lineman play with our backs to the football, while going against guys who can see the football. This means we play from reaction and feel. This drill is great for both, reacting and fighting the pressure of the defender. @RushingBrock@lijah18740@CordPigg
Alternate hand punches keep “one in the chamber” at all times. Defensive linemen are taught to swipe hands and if you lose both hands, it’s hard to recover. Altenate punches keep you ready and steady for battle.

Perfection is a pursuit, not a destination.
Quick OL finisher drill to end our OL session. Post steps with 25 lb plate pushes.
