Today, let’s take a moment to reflect sincerely on our lives before God. As we seek reconciliation and restitution where necessary (see Matthew 5:23-24; Luke 19:8-10), His mercy and forgiveness will restore us to wholeness. -Daily Bread

This is what competition should be all about 🏀
At the end of a high-stakes game, Character Coach Randy Graham (Winthrop University) and High Point’s Chase Johnston took a moment to pray together after the Big South Championship.
Two opponents. One Faith. Reminding us all that the greatest impact in college basketball goes far beyond the scoreboard.

We had an SEC assistant buy a courtside seat for one of our conference tournament games to “get ahead” of recruiting on of my kids.

Goodman makes great points and backs it up w facts. Every person is different, yes they are lumped together but the age and energy level of the guy matters, plus if hiring an ex NBA player he has to answer and explain why he won’t be the others, not an easy answer to explain away

Christmas reminds us that hope isn’t just something the world needs — it’s something each of us needs, too.
In the middle of the pressures, the expectations, and the moments we wish we’d handled differently, Christmas tells a deeper story: that grace meets us right where we are.
Coach, may this season be a reminder that God’s hope is personal. It covers the world’s brokenness and our own — and it invites us to lead, love, and live from a place of humility and gratitude.
Dwyane Wade shares a 2006 story about Pat Riley forcing the team to build real connections and accountability:
“He sat us all down in Chicago and started asking questions about each other. None of us could pass the quiz. We didn’t know families, kids, what someone likes in the morning… He knew right away we had no chance to win until we cared enough to know these intimate things.
It took the rest of the year to build that, but we did. That’s why we won. We weren’t the best team that year. We were the most together team when it mattered."
