Off Season…
Athletes who have put in the work and earned their success are unlikely to trust those who have avoided the work and been given an easy pass. Those who provided the easy pass are probably trusted even less.
Trust, loyalty and championships are earned…
Playing time is earned by performance during intense training sessions and commitment. Trust and energy are eroded on teams where playing time is given based boosters, donations or friendships. Play the best competitors with team first attitudes — those who earn it…period.
"My favorite part of being on a team is figuring out how a large group of people, each a unique individual, can come together to maximize the team’s chances of winning the next play." ~ Karch Kiraly - Head Coach USA Volleyball Women's National Team
You gotta love it when the greats talk about how GREAT playing multiple sports was for their growth in the single sport they were great at. #multisportforthewin https://t.co/BPaGIAJCNs
We get to choose what we ignore or where we give our time… everyday. Think about who and what is going to get your best energy and attention today. Avoid the time swamp of negative, complaining, dramatic, high maintenance people.
Players: Which player are you?
Bad players don’t take much seriously.
Average players take games seriously.
Good players take practice & games seriously.
Great players take academics, nutrition, warm-ups, ind. work, weight room, conditioning, film, practice & games seriously.
Teens… When you’re 25 you are going to realize that the people who demanded your best were also the ones who cared the most about you.
Embrace the challenges and the people who believe in you.

This is a great idea. I only use 1/3 of my lights in my classroom and keep the windows open for as much natural light as possible. All based on student behavior issues. RGB Lighting in Schools: One Superintendent's Lightbulb Moment https://t.co/DTwI0QD26B #CWCEDAD583
