@BrianLeeTrades Should mean reversion trades have different RR than momentum trades? One of my trader friends said that if you do mean reversion even 1:1 is fine, I'm usually trying 1R:2, but It's quite hard to catch the literal top/bottom so I get wicked out relatively often
@BrianLeeTrades How can I be sure the strategy I'm testing has an edge? I backtested something up to 100 iterations but when I forward test in action, my results are different so now I don't know If I curvefit the backtesting or I don't execute well?
@RunnerXBT I think this offers a nice mean reversion trade. But sometimes it turns and hour or two before the close and sometimes it keeps going a bit after the US close. How would you structure the trade (stop trigger entry) to reliably catch this?
@SalsaTekila@DOGE It's gonna hit ATH most likely, but then what? The valuation at ATH is gonna be already crazy, but 1$ target seems pretty juicy? Seems it would be prudent to sell at ATH but it's tempting to hold longer
