@PatrickMcEnroe@PayersPlayers@ClayTravis Wake up Patrick - Educational model is long gone in Collegiate Sports and now a business model (I personally hate that) Get in the weeds and educate yourself on Collegiate Sports and then educate yourself on supply and demand in tennis. Then and only then join the conversation
@EthanMosz Someone needs to steal McEnroes megaphone or ghost his social media. He is doing college tennis more harm than good with his uninformed dog whistle takes
@PatrickMcEnroe@collegiate10s@WSJopinion Not True - Non Elite players (4/3/2 star players) have plenty opportunities - 300 Div 1 - 180 Div 2 - 300 Div 3 - 100 NAIA schools with tennis. Over a 1000 spots each year available for approx US supply of 400 players in each class - False Narrative of no pathway
@PatrickMcEnroe@WSJopinion Supply and Demand my friend -
Not a big enough US junior supply number or quality wise to fill the demand - Give me one example of a junior US player who cannot find a spot - False narrative that foreigners are freezing out US juniors
@plumb73bob@CanesCoachL@collegiate10s Each year a demand of over 1200 spots available across all three divisions - US junior class provide a supply of around 400 each year - You do the math
@plumb73bob@CanesCoachL@collegiate10s Another false narrative - How many older foreigners exactly are there - I also don’t like the 22 year old foreign freshman but there are less than 30 of them division 1 out of 2000 division one players - Statistically insignificant
