Seven years ago today we lost Tyler to suicide. Not a moment goes by that we don’t think about him-his laughter, his love for his family, friends, teammates & coaches & the light he brought to everyone around him. This photo reminds us of Tyler at his happiest-doing what he loved most on the football field & wearing number 3 that he made so special.

Since that day in 2018 our hearts have been broken, but we’ve channeled our grief into action. Through Hilinski’s Hope we’ve worked tirelessly to honor Tyler’s legacy by spreading awareness, breaking the stigma around mental health & ensuring that student-athletes & others know it’s okay to ask for help.

Tyler’s story is a reminder that we all have a role to play in supporting those who are struggling. If you’re reading this know that there is hope, even in the darkest of times.

Today as we remember Tyler, we ask you to join & support us in this mission. Talk to someone. Check on your friends. Be kind. Together, we can save lives. ♥️♥️♥️ #hope #MentalHealthMatters
