Between the school district & NMAA, 26 videos to watch this year!! None of the content ever changes. At some point we learn the material. We let kids CLEP out of classes. I get CYA but if we can pass the test why do we have to take the class. It’s a waste of time!!!!

A few ways I have seen players take themselves from GOOD to GREAT!
1. Showing up even though the odds were stacked against them.
2. Working even though they didn’t feel like it.
3. Bringing consistent effort & energy even if they weren’t treated fair.
4. Willing to hear the truth even if they didn’t like it.
Great Teams Have Great Assistant Coaches.
Great Assistants...
1. Show Loyalty
2. Share their voice
3. Bring positive energy
4. Stay poised & composed
5. Are committed and put in the time
6. Do the little things to help the team
7. Have good relationships with all players
"The way to get better is to struggle and the way to struggle is to always play against someone older than you or better than you.
If you’re always having success, it means you’re not getting better as a player"
- Mike Davis
“My trainer” - “My trainer”
Now days everybody is a damn trainer -
We need more TRAINERS who are COACHES!
Coaches TEACH!
They Lead, Instruct, Challenge, Hold Accountable.
Quit posting & start planning.
Quit talking & start teaching.
Quit doing drills for likes & clicks.
🙏 A Thanksgiving Prayer 🍂
Oh God, on Thanksgiving Day we bow our hearts to You and pray.
We thank you for the many gifts and graces you have provided for us.
We pray for those who do not recognize or appreciate all that you have provided.
We pray for those who have less than we do.
We pray for continued health and happiness in our lives.
We pray for our family and friends, especially those who cannot be with us or are far from home.
We thank vou for the food that we are about to receive.
Amen.
Four steps to bouncing back from mistakes in games:
1. IDENTIFY the cause of the mistake.
2. Make CORRECTIONS.
3. Maintain a POSITIVE mindset.
4. REFOCUS on the next play.
(Identify, correct, stay positive, refocus.)
From @SportPsychTips
The “race track” is a name for the area between the 2 three-point arcs. It's the area where nothing good ever happens on offense.
To do good things, you have to be where the action is. That means spending as little time as possible in the midcourt area.
