Malakoff girls and guys golf teams played at Brickyard golf course last Thursday in Ferris. Bailey Riley won the girls division with an 84. On the guys side the team finished 3rd and Brandt Powers won the guys division shooting 72. Good first tournament of the year.

Both the girls team and guys team played well today at Cedar Creek Country Club. The girls team won the girls division. Bailey finished 2nd, A’livia finished 4th and Aubrey finished 5th.

Proud of the kids today. All the kids played really well for their first golf tournament of the year. Bailey Riley placed 2nd in the girls tournament. The guys team finished 3rd and Brandt Powers was 2nd low medalist in the guys tournament.

The guys golf team had a good day today in tough conditions to win the district tournament and qualify for regionals. Led by Brandt Powers first overall, Owen Stahl 2nd overall and Cannon Kilcrease 3rd overall.

Proud of the girls golf teams. Played hard and competed well in tough conditions today in the second round of the district tournament. They finished 2nd overall to qualify for the regional golf tournament. Led by Avery Reeve who finished 7th overall.

After the first round of district the girls team is in 2nd with Emma Bell leading the way in 4th overall. The boys team is in first with Brandt Powers in 1st, Owen Stahl is in 3rd and Cannon Kilcrease in 4th. Round 2 Wednesday at Cedar Creek Country Club.

Top average US history, science,and reading. Plus A honor roll and perfect attendance .

So proud of the guys tonight. They played hard and competed all night long. Tough loss losing 3-1 in 11 innings to Whitney. Great group of young men. I consider myself lucky to coach these guys.
