@JCapGLJ@KDJmedia1 Similar is it was aided by some Braves mistakes, most notably on that home run. I remember Tim McCarver on the broadcast stressing that Mark Wohlers needed to stick w/his fastball and lamented him getting beat on his slider, his 3rd best pitch
@scottyaddam@maxkellerman So it’s a turnover anyway and if it’s a foul, Castle is out and possibly putting the Knicks on the line for 2 shots and the ball with the elbow to the chin
@ChrisCelletti@maxkellerman The drama started building in the 4th when they got it under 10. I didn’t outwardly cheer anything until Brunson’s 3 cut it to 1 with about 2 min left
@maxkellerman 1993 games 3&6, 1997 games 4&5, 1998 Game 6, 2000 game 4, 2005 game 5, 2006 Game 5, 2010 game 7, 2013 game 6 are better examples of great finals games
@maxkellerman As a Knicks fan, it’s a combo of a great choke, great comeback, and thrilling finish, but not a great game. A great game is back and forth where neither team leads by much and every possession is tightly contested
@HolderStephen It’s up there, but I wouldnt put it as the worst. Series isn’t over yet. I’m a Knicks fan, never comfortable until job is done. Oilers vs Bills in 1992 NFL playoffs. Falcons vs Pats in Super Bowl 51. Giants vs 49ers 2002 NFL wild card. Heat vs Mavs Game 2 2011 finals.
@ClayTravis I’m a Knicks fan. That’s a choke. For a team to come back from 29 in the second half, they need help from the opponent. It’s reasonable to not expect the Spurs to shoot lights out in the 2nd half like they did the 1st, but they stopped attacking the basket & relaxed on D
@Dedor33@NBA_NewYork Knicks have a good record with Zarba, Regardless of any officiating gripes, they need to execute better. They only lost by 4. Clean up the turnovers, the bad shots, & get more flow & motion; they’ll win regardless of officiating. They need to be proactive & take it themselves
@CarpntrsDaught@NBA_NewYork Even with questions on officiating, the Knicks need to execute better. If they did, they would have won anyway regardless of the refs. Too many turnovers, not enough movement, & too many bad shots on offense. They need to worry about their own game. Execute better & they’ll win
@gustavoboose@dorkasaurus_rex@ShaxNBA Would be a good switch up, especially with the length of the Spurs guards. He can drive and knock down shots. Another guy they have to worry about scoring
