The first 4 weeks of summer training are in the books! We have avg 26 athletes per day (14b & 12g). A special shout out to the kids below for going 16/16 so far 💪🏻
@CoachBurb@ccpsactivities@CoachHuebertII Hey coach we are under the same restrictions you are. Do you have an article or website I can pass along showing our new directives. I’m ready to get some bigger groups!
The importance of putting in the time developing strength/power/speed/agility/injury resiliency is increasing each year. Invest in yourself and your team now or pay later! Most HS athletes don’t have a true off-season so it’s even more important to MAKE time for training!
Palmer #nebprepsGOAT nominee Russ Thede scores over @FCSacredHeart in the 1974 state tourney. And, again the modern game's sock game is shown to be woefully lacking. @PalmerTigers won D title 68-58. @PrepExtra pic.
Boys are 2-0 at state! Those who are still in town are welcome to come train at the regular time. Another good day for the ladies! Grades 7-12 all getting after it.
I’m happy to say it was a slow day for the boys (they are repping us down at state baseball) keep up the good work
Girls got a little variety in with some grunt work added to the mix
It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish...go Tigers
A day of connecting, learning and growing with some of the best high school S&C Coaches in NE. Thanks to Coaches Amber & Mark Burson for hosting this event at Lexington High School and for their outstanding Central Nebraska hospitality!
This jump circuit has become a personal favorite for our strength staff. The ability to pop down into an athletic position, jump, fully extend, and properly land back in starting position is so underutilized. So many variations you can add in as well. Body control is everything.
Lifter of the month for January is Izzy! She picked up weights at semester and has had a great impact on her class. I love to see seniors finish out strong!
