[Matt Zenitz @mzenitz]

A source tells @CBSSports that the #Browns have added two ex-players to their staff — ex-NFL linebacker LaRoy Reynolds and ex-NFL running back DeMetric Felton.

Reynolds played linebacker in the NFL from 2013-21. Felton played for Cleveland in 2021 and ‘22. Now working there.

NEW: Never big on huddling, Gus Malzahn slows down after leaving his mark on the SEC👏

“That was a special time at Auburn, the players and coaches we had. Counting my time as an assistant, in 11 years at Auburn, we won a national championship, two SEC championships and played in three SEC championship games, Malzahn told On3's @Clowfb.

And we were doing things on offense nobody else was really doing back then in the SEC.”

Dale Pruitt was considering retirement after a 40-plus-year career as a head coach.

His son, Jeremy, talked him out of it.

“He said, ‘If you’ll stay, I’ll help you.’”

With the former Tennessee head coach on the staff, Plainview is 11-0 this year:
