Congratulations to Sophomore KeKe Jordan! Tonight she was awarded the Buck Johnson Softball Award at the Best of Preps Annual Banquet!

Buck Johnson Award - Outstanding Achievement in Softball
Buck Johnson: He taught at Soddy-Daisy Junior or Middle School for 30 years and also coached baseball, football and girls’ basketball. He worked as a sports writer for the Chattanooga Times for 44 years, where he won numerous awards, including the AAU’s National Media Man of the Year, national golf columnist of the year and ASA softball national writer of the year. He is a member of the Greater Chattanooga Area Sports Hall of Fame, Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame and National Softball Hall of Fame and has worked at two Olympics, serving as the International Softball Federation’s chief press officer.
