If I had 30 days to learn AWS from ZERO, I'd stop watching endless tutorials.
I'd focus on 10 things, build 1 real project, and document everything.
Here's my exact 30-day AWS roadmap:

Science supports the preference. Physical books give tactile/spatial cues—page thickness, fixed locations—that let the brain build mental maps of the text, aiding recall of details and sequence. Brain studies show more efficient processing with print; digital lacks these anchors and often yields shallower comprehension plus more distractions. The multisensory feel (touch, smell) also boosts enjoyment.
@readswithravi I don't find this statement to be unpopular. I read one digital book and it was brutal. I liked the "book" but it was not as enjoyable as holding a physical book in your hand. I'm curious what science is behind this. @grok can you elaborate?

Great message! If you ever want to get promoted do a great job in your current role. Whether is playing as a backup on varsity or position at the office this principle applies.
Be so good they cant ignore you!
Everybody wants a bigger role.
Not everybody is willing to master the one they have.
The best way to prepare for a bigger role is to be exceptional in the one you have.
Don't let your ambition for more become an excuse for doing less.
⚔️ INVENIAM VIAM 🏔️
"I shall find a way"
📜 THE STORY
218 BC. Hannibal Barca, a general from Carthage, had one mission: take the fight to Rome. One problem. The Alps were in the way. Snow, ice, cliffs, freezing wind, and an army that included 🐘 WAR ELEPHANTS 🐘.
His officers told him it was impossible. Nobody marches an army over those mountains in winter. Not with elephants. Hannibal's answer: "Aut inveniam viam aut faciam." I shall either find a way or make one.
The climb was brutal. Men froze. Animals slid off cliffs. Enemy tribes attacked from above. Then a giant boulder blocked the only path forward. Hannibal didn't turn back. His men built fires, heated the rock, poured sour wine on it, and broke it apart piece by piece. They didn't FIND a way. They MADE one.
About 15 days later, Hannibal marched out of the mountains and into Italy. Rome never saw it coming.

Michael Jordan was once asked about his best skill, shooting, dunking, passing, defense or anticipating movements on the court?
Jordan answered:
“My best skill was that I was coachable. I was a sponge and aggressive to learn.”
POV: Here's how I'm learning AWS in 2026.
1. Linux → Master the basics
2. Networking → Understand how systems connect
3. IAM → Learn access control
4. EC2 → Deploy your first server
5. S3 → Master cloud storage
6. VPC → Understand cloud networking
7. RDS → Work with databases
8. Lambda → Build serverless apps
9. Terraform → Automate infrastructure
10. Projects → Build real-world architectures
Less memorizing. More building.
2026 is the year to become AWS job-ready. ☁️
