The GREATEST sports parents are those who let the coaches coach, the officials officiate, are their children’s biggest support system, and spend more time and energy focusing on their child’s character, work ethic, and education, than anything else.

Just an FYI we don’t lift for football.
We don’t lift for basketball.
We don’t lift for baseball.
We lift to be ATHLETES
Our workouts aren’t sport specific. They focus on power, explosion, speed and balance.
Players who always have an excuse, something to say or look for someone to explain themselves to after being coached, critiqued or corrected are unaccountable and a liability to themselves and the team. #Ap2w
Houston Coach Bill Yeoman invented the Triple Option by mistake.
At practice in 1964, preparing for a vaunted Penn State Defense, Coach Yeoman was trying to run Dive into an 8-Man Box.
They were struggling to move the ball so Yeoman told the Tackle, "you can't block him anyway so just get out of the way!"
The unblocked Defensive Lineman had no idea what to do and ran upfield right out of the play.
Just like that, the Split Back Veer Triple Option was formed and it took the football world by storm.
The fundamental principles Bill Yeoman's Option Offense continue to impact offensive strategy at all levels of football 60 years later.
“I’ve never felt in my adult life the way that I felt on Friday nights.”
ESPN’s Marty Smith perfectly sums up how high school football taps into our emotions and connects all walks of life with a single, glorious game.
Because the Future is Friday…
@CoachTM9 It’s good as long as your oline can handle their blitz/twist. If they can man up and blitz it can cause issues. Rugby is great from it. Also motion a slot guy over from one side to other. Or use slots as wings and motion across/out. QB at punter and RB at PP are great bonus.
