@DroptineArt Oh man, I've wanted to quit my job for a long while for similar reasons. Between boss favoritism towards some of my co-workers, minimum wage over quasi-slave lavor, having to deal with ugh customers (most of them drunkards), and boss skiping minimum laboral law requirements

@RoockyDotIT lly and culturally closer to south USA (Texas, New Mexico, Arizona) albeit still VERY different from SE Usa.

That said, my own Spanish is a bit weird. I have the accent from Jalisco from my mother and the profanities-per-minute speech from my father and the Gulf Coast accent.

@RoockyDotIT Oh! Seems like a very difficult task, considering that sabe by four or so (Cooper, Lyle, Alister and Aeria) all characters speak with a characteristic Southern US English accent that is likely hard to mimic in Spanish

@TulaneOpossum Funnily enough, here we use the Imperial system for tools and pieces like that. Had to learn it for my time working on the oil rig.

Is just we use the metric system for everything else lol.

The former is a conditional "if"

The second just means "yes"

Also "como" and "cómo"

Fist can mean either "I eat" or in a completely different context "as like" while the later mean "How" in an interrogative sentence.
