Our dedicated utilities intern is out in the field updating the GPS locations of fire hydrants across the city. This crucial work ensures that water operations staff and emergency services can locate hydrants quickly and accurately, enhancing our community's safety.
Electric City Utilities teamed up with Anderson County United Way’s youth summer camp and Anderson County Soil & Water Conservation District for a stream cleanup at Generostee Creek! We collected 13 bags of trash, 2 tires, a car bumper, and several other large items.
