i had a crazy emotional reaction to this image. I think this gap moe is so perfect, where Gaku will wait in that pose for so long and Ryuu will keep messing up, and tenn would make it worse by constantly telling ryuu to try again just to piss gaku off
I finished #IDOLiSH7’s Second Beat, and here are my thoughts!
Clearly, the “beat” in second beat meant “beating” the fuck out of your emotions more. If S1 was this anime finding its pace, Second Beat is when this series has announced that it has cometh, it has arriveth—alea iacta est.
Second Beat announces two things: one, being an idol is a matter of life or death. Second, this is when I realise that I wasn’t that far off when I captioned a photo of IDOLiSh7, Trigger, and Re: vale as “an idol revolution”. Because everything that these three groups have been doing is a revolution against the archaic view of what an idol is. Using 3 points, I’ll explain why below.
