Due to inclement weather, we are rescheduling homecoming for February 9th against Egyptian. Mr. Recuero will meet with student council members when we return to school and iron out the details.
The high school boys basketball game in Chester tomorrow night will be played as scheduled. The championship game starts at 7:00pm. Hope to see you there!
Parents: The High School Boy's basketball game has been pushed up to 5:00pm in Chester. The game will start at 5:00pm instead of 7:30pm. The bus will leave school at 2:45pm.

Thanks to all who came out and donated blood yesterday. We had to collect a minimum of 30 units of blood to qualify for $250 student scholarship through the Red Cross and we made it! Thanks to our National Honor Society students and Mrs. Reiman for organizing the blood drive!

First semester report cards, along with PARCC and PSAT score reports, are being sent home with all Jr-Sr High school students today. Please check backpacks tonight!
On January 8th, Cobden High School National Honor Society students are hosting a blood drive in the Jr-Sr High library from 10:30am -3:30pm. If we collect 30 units of blood that day, the Red Cross will award a $250 scholarship to one of our seniors.
October is infant loss awareness month. FCCLA members cut out over 250 scent cloths to donate to the NICU at Children's Hospital in honor of Josephine and Iris Sheridan last month.
Nice job Cobden Jr-Sr High Students and Staff. Thanks to you, the FCCLA is able to donate 2,910 nonperishable food items to Bethany Village in Anna. Impressive participation in this year's food drive!
Mrs. Bundren's Composition I students spent the day Monday at Morris Library at SIU doing research. Thanks to the faculty/staff at SIU for being such great hosts!
