@TheFakeAlycia@walterwhitepill As a current resident I have my bias but I like RISP becuase they don’t have “Oh a sports car”
They have cruisers that demonstrate tradition, multi-unit functionality, and beauty of the Ocean State in the photo.
"I do not want to hit, I don't want to smash, I don't want to have a one night stand, I simply YEARN. And if I don't find my true love, I will die ALONE."
Not sure how I am only just now hearing this*, but in case you had not heard it, that POS dirtbag with the AR that went on a shooting rampage in Cambridge, MA the other day, he was stopped by an armed civilian who was joined by a cop, they worked as a team, and stopped the suspect.
You know, ALL of the stuff that the antigun crowd says NEVER happens.
In fact, this one incident is the perfect example of how every relevant democrat policy is dead wrong.
- Democrat soft on crime policies put a multiple time convicted felon and attempted cop killer back on the street in the blink of an eye.
- MA strict gun laws (rated an A by Giffords) did absolutely nothing to prevent a convicted felon from getting a gun.
- An armed private citizen actually engaged the suspect.
- When the cops arrived, despite what antigun Dems love to say, the cop was immediately able to tell the difference between the armed civilian and the armed shitbag.
- The cops did not shoot the wrong person.
- The armed civilian did not shoot a bunch of random innocent people.
- The armed civilian and the cop worked together to end the situation, saving innocent lives.

(* Actually, I do know why it took so long to come out, the MSM doesn't like it when armed civilians save the day.)
Before the circus came to town
Things were set in stone
Rooster, hen, women, men
The rule of flesh and bone.
But all of that came crashing down
When the circus did appear
From out the tent, a dancing clown
For whom the children cheered
A clownish spell was incanted
Skin began to melt
A fat girl marveled as he chanted
Her figure became svelte
To each, a gift, or so he said
He made the short boys taller
If instead they’re too well fed,
He’ll make their waistline smaller
To and fro, flesh freely flowed
Trying on new forms
Experimental, transcendental
Transgressing social norms
The girls and boys made joyful noise
Feeling new, and smart
But something strange began to change
When the circus did depart
Once outside the clownish tent
His spell began to fade
Flesh stopped flowing, bones stopped growing
The piper must be paid
Some were frozen part-way through
From one shape to another
The spell he spun, can’t be undone
Now father’s half a mother
Tangled bodies tumbled forth
Gurgling and screaming
Up is down, South is North
Curdling and teeming
Desperately the jilted marks
Begged for the clown’s return
All sales are final, circumspinal
A costly way to learn
So heed this lesson, boys and girls
When the circus comes to town
Fat or thin, love the skin you’re in
And never trust a clown
@PDSOLEs I am interested in becoming a police officer!
I am finishing up my bachelors degree in Criminal Justice and then I’m going to choose a department somewhere on the East Coast of the US.
@PDSOLEs Yeah, way back in the 80s, about 25 years before I came into the picture, by then he retired and worked as a registered nurse for the VA.
The stories he told me of his time as a police officer, both good and bad, cemented my desire to be a police officer.
@PDSOLEs Some departments are putting their own spin on the generic colors.
I know Charlestown PD has stripes on their pants and some color on their uniforms, goes well with their cruisers and the area they are in.
Another example is South Kingstown Police.
@PDSOLEs Most other departments beside Providence have the same style.
Cranston, and Warwick do blue, while East Providence is the closest to RISP in looks.
Other departments are going away from that look to more “street ready” like solid colors.
@PDSOLEs Yooo, Providence?! Nice! Never thought I’d see Rhode Island law enforcement be represented in art, that’s so cool!
You said you weren’t good with art? That’s a lie, these are amazing!
@PDSOLEs I take it you’ve seen some of New England’s state uniforms then?
Rhode Island State Police and Massachusetts State Police have some iconic uniforms.
Some municipal agencies within Rhode Island and Massachusetts mirror their state police uniforms as well!
