Another great weekend at Faith-Based Facilitation Training. 11 more fantastic Facilitators in the Australia Territory. @SalvArmyIHQ #fbf #faithbasedfacilitation

@samjtomlin @SalvArmyIHQ @GeneralBPeddle There’s been a fair bit written on this, in the context of numerous conflicts through history. Will try to dig some of it out and share.

@Qantas - URGENT - I’ve been trying to talk to a customer service rep for a wk. Every time I call, I wait 2-3 hrs for someone to answer. When they do, the call cuts off 10 seconds in. I say I’ll need a callback if it cuts off, they agree, yet no call back. How do I get service?

'A decade to make a difference.'

This was the message from @GeneralBPeddle as he launched The #SalvationArmy's new Positional Statement on the #Environment. He urged our movement to put faith into action and commit to sustainable practices.

@samjtomlin A helpful thread (and I’d suggest relevant for those of us not in the UK also). Thanks for sharing.

@danielleiwood Great thread, and great thoughts. Thank you!

I'm always grateful that @salvationarmy 's has International Positional Statements. They're not binding on individual Salvationists, but a tool which help us to think through issues we may come across for ourselves. Check them out here: https://t.co/USRTfelr2d

“There is a rest that exists only in Christ. In his embrace we can discern between what matters and what doesn’t, what counts and what is simply optional, and what is essential to our holy task… and what is just cultural pressure”. Thanks @JenHatmaker

While Sydney is in lockdown, a small number from our Outreach Team are heading out to provide pre-packaged meals & blankets to those sleeping rough in the City (in line with Covid exemptions). Pray for safety for our Team & for those they serve. #sydneycongresshall @salvos

Tonight was to be Session 1 of the next round of Faith-Based Facilitation for the Australia Territory, but Sydney’s latest Covid outbreak had other plans. We’ll try again next week! #fbf

It’s Red Shield Appeal time! If you’d like to support The Salvos’ work in the City of Sydney, please head to this link. We count it as a privilege to distribute these funds through our programs week in, week out, to those in our City who need support. https://t.co/5oCLGHrnnO

TOMORROW at #sydneycongresshall. Bring a blanket to the Blanket Banquet. All welcome!
Blankets will be distributed by our Homelessness Outreach Ministry to those sleeping rough in Sydney. If you can’t come but have blankets to donate, give me a shout.
