what I’m looking for in a community is people who take rat/EA ideas as given, and “yes and” them by talking about feelings with a non-berkeley-rationalist-dialect. “tpot” feels frustrating to me because it used to be close to this and
now isn’t. I just want a name for this

@TetraspaceWest The DC was for R&D/training/architecture iteration!! They were doing full bleeding edge research, that would take SO many parallel trials!!!

Not to mention, I think the training -> inference compute scaling implied by the relative sizes isn't even that far off of today

@a_ankenb mm! yeah I'm remarkably happy with it, higher baseline energy now too. I will say - watch out for weird moods on day 3-5 of decaf life it can kinda sneak up on you, but after that it's super clean!

My model of writing skill is ~"write things and it gets better" but you seem to have far fewer published things than I'd expect for that!

@Lizquidity Tho also I've just been making more and more friends with the queers who don't JUST want to talk about tech. The tech queers are fun sometimes but there's soooo many other kinds of ppl out there to befriend too!!! :D
