How do you put into words a man whose life has given expression to the things we read about in Scripture? π€
The greatest lives are not merely those spoken about; they are those that become proof. And today, before our very eyes, we are witnessing the unfolding of a life that is proof of what is possible when a man is completely yielded to God. Because when a man gives himself wholly to God, there is no telling what God can do with that life. ππ»
Happy Birthday to our Father, Shepherd, and covener of the Hallelujah Challenge, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, a man who loves not merely in word, but in deed and in truth. π€
You have taught us that the Gospel is not only something to be preached; it is something to be lived. π₯
You have taught us that holiness is not an outdated doctrine, but the standard of a life that belongs to God.
You have taught us to fear God, to honour His presence and to understand that the privilege of carrying His name comes with the responsibility of representing Him well.
Your voice has travelled to the nations of the earth, but beyond the sound of the music, it has carried a message: a message calling men back to God, believers back to holiness, and hearts back to Jesus. ππ»
And perhaps above all, you have taught us surrender: to live with an open heart and open hands before God. This is the beauty of your life, Pastor Nath. A life being poured out.
May the years ahead carry even greater dimensions of the grace upon your life. Your strength is renewed, your oil continually flow, your home flourishes, your children rise and call you blessed.
And when the story of this life is finally told, that heaven will say of you: He lived for God and finished strong.
Happy Birthday, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey ππ€
The global Hallelujah Challenge family honors you and celebrates you. And above all, we thank God for the gift of you to us.
My journey as an opening act started as a way to gradually enter the music performance space.
One thing Iβve learned so far? Is the AUDIENCE.
Singing WITH the audience, FOR the audience, and keeping the audience in mind throughout the song.
