The Ottawa Police Service has charged a man following a drug trafficking investigation in the Centretown neighbourhood.

Members of the Central District Centretown Neighbourhood Resource Team (NRT) conducted an investigation following numerous community complaints regarding suspected drug activity in the area of Cooper Street.

As a result of the investigation, a 47-year old male was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking x3 and possession of proceeds of crime.

Le Service de police d’Ottawa (SPO) vient d’inculper un homme à la suite d’une enquête portant sur du trafic de drogue dans le quartier Centre-ville.

Des membres de l’Équipe de ressources de quartier (ERQ) de la division centrale menèrent une enquête après avoir reçu de nombreuses plaintes de la population au sujet d’activités soupçonnées d’être liées à la drogue aux environs de la rue Cooper.

À la lumière de l’enquête, un homme âgé de 47 ans fut arrêté et inculpé de trois chefs de possession de substances réglementées en vue d’en faire le trafic, ainsi que de possession de produits de la criminalité.
