Saw this play tonight @cockroachesPLAY@EtceteraTheatre, based on Bulgakov’s play ‘Flight’- excellent. Bulgakov’s personality felt as strong on the stage as it does on the page. https://t.co/2JvmoikKIC
#Bulgakov's novel, written during Stalin’s regime, couldn't be published until many years after its author’s death. The story opens with the devil's arrival in 1930s Moscow, accompanied by a talking black cat, an assassin & a beautiful naked witch.
