If you want to overpay for targets in mid-June, therefore affecting Manchester United's ability to complete other deals afterwards (eg. 3rd CM) because you set a benchmark (like Cunha did), good luck.
People can't show a shred of composure. Their happy with the club's plan until the slightest bit of bad news, then there's no more trust, they have no idea, what are they doing. It's such an embarrassing act to witness.
The complaints through the Mbeumo deal is the same act happening now. The scenario is different - club needed right structure of that deal, now it's leaning on West Ham's lack of financial leverage - but still.
It's amazing how many people let themselves be infected & infiltrated without even realising by the kind of thinking & narratives that Mark Goldbridge, Martien etc push. Doomer gimmick is deadset loser mentality.
Brokering a crucial ceasefire is not merely a projection of power. It is a symptom of Pakistan’s steady ascent toward becoming a respected, trusted nation-state. The ambition to serve as an important geopolitical and geoeconomic player is materialising faster than ever.
Indeed. It has been a gradual journey. A significant amount of hard work and strategic thinking went into pulling Pakistan back from the brink and into the limelight.
Yet, some still view the country through an outdated lens that was discarded four years ago.
After May 2025, Indian government has no clue what to do as the narrative it had created around Pakistan continues to crumble and turn into dust.

So proud to see global media appreciating and praising Pakistan on achieving a critical ceasefire. Pakistan has helped avert what could have easily been a global scale catastrophe. Prime Minister & Field Martial both have delivered much needed relief to the people of the region & the planet. Hoping & praying these 2 weeks lead us into a permenant & lasting peace. 🇵🇰❤️🇵🇰❤️🇵🇰❤️🇵🇰❤️🇵🇰❤️🇵🇰❤️🇵🇰❤️
Pakistan is proud to have led with wisdom, resolve, and a steadfast commitment to peace, and remains deeply appreciative of the leadership of Iran and the United States for stepping back from the brink and choosing dialogue over devastation. I commend the tireless efforts of the leadership in Tehran, Washington, and Islamabad in creating the space for de-escalation and diplomacy to prevail.
This ceasefire offers a critical opening for the region to breathe, recover, and turn away from the shadow of a wider war. May this not remain merely a pause in conflict, but become the beginning of a durable peace, one that unlocks stability, promotes cooperation, and advances shared prosperity for our region and the world.
I think Pakistan has not yet had the credit it deserves for their efforts in bringing about this albeit partial and fragile ceasefire in Iran @GovtofPakistan
All criticism and opinions about Pakistan's Government aside, they really pulled this ceasefire off.
A nation whom for a long time, been stigmatised, came up Trumps (No pun intended).
This will certainly elevate Pakistan's ranking as a regional peacemaker. Credit where credit is due.
I welcome the announcement by the United States and Iran of a two-week ceasefire. I urge all parties to uphold its terms in order to achieve sustainable peace in the region.
The EU stands ready to support ongoing efforts and remains in close contact with its partners in the region.
I thank Pakistan and all other parties involved in facilitating this agreement.
I welcome the two-week ceasefire the US and Iran agreed last night. It brings much-needed de-escalation.
I thank Pakistan for its mediation.
Now it is crucial that negotiations for an enduring solution to this conflict continue.
We will continue coordinating with our partners to this end.
Just landed at an airport in Italy. Handed over my Pakistani passport for immigration and the officer smiled warmly, looked at me and said, “You’re a global peacemaker. We’re proud of you.” He then asked me to marry his daughter because he would like his grandchildren to have Pakistani peacemaking blood in them. Made my day 🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰
