@pokerperc Almost there. What’s the point of viewers? At least in part that they’ll try poker n come play wsop events. If you make fun of people for small buyins n small hendon numbers then new recreational players aren’t exactly encouraged to come play for fear you’ll make fun of them too.

@amit32883 That’s actually fine. Then don’t put them on the streaming feature table. Most FTs aren’t streamed. If you make the choice to highlight them, then be respectful at least. It’ll definitely turn people off to playing if they think they’ll be made fun of.

So if you think the top 50 crushers have that ROI (i.e., 2.5x a fair 1.6 markup ROI), then take the bet. It's a beautiful prop bet.

@BobbyJamesPoker @padspoker This seems unlikely given no one at the table saw it and that was never suggested. Pads published several DMs from ppl at the table and even from the guy who was apologetic and felt horrible, never saying he tossed a chip. No evidence of this made up nonsense excuse.

@_RookieLE_ @padspoker TBF to Vegas in general, these issues are pretty specific to places like WSOP low buyins or maybe the Venetian. You will not see this type of BS at the Wynn or Aria/Pokergo or at the WSOP HRs who are much better.

The issue is TDs getting it wrong afterall. 2026 WSOP Rule 80: "If a Participant has not acted before the declaration or alarm sounds, the hand will be dead." Dead.

@padspoker High roller day 1 coverage would be so great for poker fans who want technical poker. Mix game FTs are probably more entertaining for most. HR FTs are the most streamed and seem like the least interesting or popular.

@SavagePoker Yeah I didn’t see the 30 mins suggestion initially, was commenting more broadly on you saying it couldn’t be different prices at different times and suggesting clerks handle it just fine. WPT seems very reluctant to try it, but it really seems like a win/win.

@SavagePoker No but they charge different rake at different times. On time reg pays reduced rake in all pokergo events and now all of the Wynn high roller events.

@SavagePoker If you want to incentivize on time reg, give a reduced rake like PokerGO does. It always leads to more on time reg, then more rebuys happen and it’s more total buyins. Prize pools get bigger n likely increases total rake.

@SavagePoker Bigger issue is enforcing that all stacks are in play after the reg closing break. Pause the clock if people are still drawing at the end of the break. Let the BB location be random at max late reg. If someone comes in before the max late reg period let them sit in whenever.
