@DickWinchester Their shadow chancellor’s self driving cars to solve the lack of public transport in rural areas was funnier. They’re not even trying to be a serious party anymore.
@Grouse_Beater This will be fun for them trying to poison pensioners with their BritNat propaganda. Streaming online content isn’t so popular with older viewers.
@Grouse_Beater A farce or whatever but the BBC knew the script for their news reports, heavy implications towards Russia and Iran being behind it. Predictable as ever.
@DickWinchester I see a lot of the equipment arrive at Dundee docks, get stored then assembled and finally off to be installed. Very little benefit to the local economy or population. Our Politicians say nothing.
@Grouse_Beater I saw them all getting put up around the city centre a few years ago. ‘Investment opportunities’ for some I would guess. I can’t see how they’ll be repurposed, a few bedrooms with communal lounge and kitchen has limited demand outwith student usage.
@overlandertheb1 It’s pretty niche stuff, but used a lot offshore. Google scattergun approach to advertising, some mug will be paying them to serve up their ‘targeted’ ads.
@CitizenUddin@StuartCedric1 I think the economic situation will price home delivery of takeaway food out of popularity, one benefit of rising prices I guess.
@ukblok26@LBC@mattfrei Recently we were told that AI companies weren’t turning a profit and were burning through cash, is the ‘AI is all powerful’ panic a way to boost their stock prices. Timing would say so.
