the thing i loved about iron lung is that it didn't hand the audience answers on a platter, even the bits people have said are "slow" are really moments for you to start to speculate what's happening and connect the pieces for yourself, and that's becoming a dying art in writing
sure it's not a """perfect movie""" by any means and idk what would even make a perfect movie anymore since art is subjective but i love it for what it is: an indie movie made by artists who clearly love their craft and will not sacrifice that for people who don't want to thinkl
