@fredtrades I have no choice since I have a job Iβm not ready to leave yet and could never pass a challenge on Asia session after work. Iβve passed several challenges on my iPhone since moving to NY AM session and have taken payouts. It is harder but with a good strategy it can be done.
@TheH0n3stTrader I work during NY AM session so that is my only option right now. I have 2 funded accounts and working on my third. Itβs not ideal but I do take regular payouts.
@martinfxtrade Better to shut it all down once target is hit. You would only be tempted if you were still watching the charts. Make it a hard rule and go find something else to do
@SheTradesIct ICT is only a toolbox. Some tools provide more value than others. Some you will never use. Figure out the best tools to trade your personal style and master it.
@SheTradesIct If your broker has risk settings USE THEM. Have a DLL and DPT. Block if possible or just shut it down and go do something else. The market will still be here tomorrow.
@TheH0n3stTrader I work 8-5 ET and could not pass a challenge on Asia session despite several tries so I started trading on my phone during NY AM. I drew all my levels before work. Iβve now passed 5 challenges and am taking payouts $1,000 at a time. Definitely risky but it can be done.
Trading is personal development disguised as a skill.
The market will expose every weakness.
Impatience, lack of discipline, emotional decision-making, and poor habits.
That's why the goal isn't just to master a strategy.
It's to master yourself.
Because when you become a better person, you naturally become a better trader.
@murutrades In my experience this is the holy grail everyone is searching for. Anytime I tried to speed up a challenge or go lax on my risk management I would blow the account. By following a set strategy with set risk management I now pass every challenge I start. π―
