@twumblunni @DeltaQuart @MinervaMoment What I really dislike about the translation is that one of his final lines to Junko directly calls back to that specific line at the start of the game where he says his biggest saving grace is that he's 前向き, but it didn't land as well in English due to inconsistent phrasing.

@baldbutconfused @nassbeenthat @gunboneyard @x8is_ @Reem_Mitaka They're very acquirable, they just require rigorous chorusing. The paper on accent addition by Olle Kjellin doesn't get talked about enough in language learning circles. It's insanely powerful info.

Through chorusing around 20 sentences to acquire the language's prosody early on, you only really have to work on the consonants after that. Olle Kjellin's paper on accent addition goes into more detail on this.
