@rickygervais Funnily enough a young girl in her 20s just offered me her seat…my first thought at age 42 was ‘do I look old or pregnant or is she just super respectful of her elders?!’ Was nice to be offered though at my age I politely declined…

Why isn’t the university marking boycott getting more news coverage? Up to 1 in 3 final year students are currently learning they won’t graduate with a grade because of the pay dispute. My daughter - along with many others - has been offered £500 as compensation. After spending £27,750 on course fees, and countless hours and stress doing a dissertation that she was proud of, but has now been told may never be marked. This is outrageous. Quite rightly, students are saying they will tear up their unclassified degrees, because this is offensive. These are the kids who didn’t get to do A levels, because of COVID. They are being let down horrendously. I believe we need to do more to stand up and say this situation is unacceptable. Disputes happen. The grown ups should sort it out and do the right thing by these students now #standwithstudents
Thanks for being so brave and sharing this article. I hope it helps to inform other women and give those suffering in silence the courage to seek help. #BirthTrauma#BTA2023

Thank you Diane at @Gatwick_Airport security who told my daughter (who’d already lost 1 teddy) that she would personally escort Una & Nuna through their X-ray so they would be safe. Hero of the hour! Flight delays mean we don’t land until 11pm 😱
