I encourage you to watch my talk Coding Future Coders. It's <30 mins and you'll get credit for doing something to observe the month

The first job will always be the most difficult to get, but once you get it, things will get easier.

▫️have perseverance and tenacity 💪
▫️be patient 😇
▫️keep your skills up to date 💻
▫️be curious 🧐

And you will get there! 😉

Getting our first job as a developer isn't always easy. Sometimes it can be really hard.🧐

I'm a former psychologist who jumped to tech and I had no experience in programming whatsoever

My advices:

🔹Have an online presence and try to help the community

▫️Twitter
▫️StackOverflow
▫️Linkedin
▫️Medium
▫️Codepen
▫️Meetups
▫️...

These are only a few.. but there's plenty of places where you can help the community and also get help when you need

[sofia_silva @code_sofiasilva]

Best thing of being a developer💻
-coding-understand languages that only a few group of people know😊
-work remotely🏠
-learn something new every day🧐
-be creative and build your own projects🤖
-Google is your friend and StackOverflow is your bible😇
