The overview of the thread is that it is totally okay to use Getx for projects that lie outside your hobby area as well. As long as one has in-depth knowledge of how things work underhood and when and where to use what, it's okay to use it.

I would like to present my views on this discussion. I have been using Flutter for about 2 years now and GetX has been my go-to state management solution for about 8 months now. I will agree that Getx handles a lot of the imp. stuff under the hood which is not good for learning.

I've tried really hard to stay away from the whole subject of GetX for a lot of reasons, but one came up recently that I feel I have to mention. I'll try to say it as objectively as possible.

There are a bunch of things where I would always prefer to use Flutter's own solutions such as Navigators and dialogue boxes and stuff. I mostly use Getx to use their observables as managing state using those is just very easy.
