Spending my time between SF and Mexico has been such a good way to be immersed in the AI bubble while remembering the realities of traditional industries around the world.

We built Rillet on the idea that the centuries-old practice of "closing your books" should be obsolete. Month-end, which used to be a scramble to reconcile everything and get the numbers to zero out, is now just another day. Based on a sample of Rillet customers, we went deep with @a16z on how AI-native ERP is breaking the mold of traditional accounting.

The finance role is evolving. FP&A is moving to real time reporting. Accountants are becoming orchestrators of data and systems. Historically, much of our time has been spent sorting, copying, pasting, filtering - the classic “why don’t these two data sets match?” AI-native teams are operating differently. They’re building data cleanliness with Rillet upstream so everything is queryable downstream in a secure and compliant manner. We are building the next shift in AI that doesn't wait to be asked. No prompts or queries needed. It surfaces the anomaly before anyone knew to look for it - continuously in real time, running in the background. So your team focuses on the work that actually moves the business forward. Yesterday I sat down with Romaine Bostick and Katie Greifeld at Bloomberg to talk about exactly this. We got into why human-in-the-loop still matters even as automation accelerates and what @arampell means when he says the best companies are filing cabinets. Thank you for having @RilletHQ and @a16z on air! Watch the full interview here: https://t.co/xoqIud0w8Q

From Stanford to LatAm to the world. From tragedy to obsession to life’s work. $9M seed and Telepatia AI (the AI Doctor) is officially live in Brazil. To compounding for the next 100 years. https://t.co/8d8Ngln5VP
