Hey people! I'll give access to the first version of a revamped @codeportal_io next week!

My vision is to create an on-demand custom software platform for businesses using the generative UI paradigm. I'm starting with making data modeling more approachable and will continue to add the building blocks needed to make the platform more powerful (views, charts, powerful tables / grid views, forms, dashboards, widgets, etc). I have a ton of ideas, and I am working fast to bring them to life.

For the curious, it uses SQLite under the hood and is powered by @tursodatabase, and it uses the latest developments in generative UIs from @vercel. Using SQLite and Turso, I provide you with a real production DB per business. You have complete control over these DBs and can build on top of them! This is a much more powerful foundation for building a custom system, and it avoids the typical limitations of other platforms.

It is an early version, and I'm reaching out to people who need this and find it interesting to help shape the product. If this is you, and you love creating tools to streamline your business or other people's businesses, I would love to chat!

Today I made @codeportal_io open-source. It is built with my favorite stack for fast iteration: TypeScript, @nextjs (using the app directory and RSC), Tailwind CSS, @DrizzleORM, and @PlanetScale ✨.

This is @codeportal_io AI generating good-looking UIs with @tailwindcss, and @shadcn 💅. Much better than a couple of days ago! ✨

I also added the option to change the base color and radius 🎨

On the functionality side, it can now handle more HTTP verbs (PUT, PATCH, GET, DELETE), which makes it possible for the AI (GPT4) to create this app that saves, gets, deletes, and updates items.

First version of @codeportal_io. It creates mini-apps using GPT4 that can save data to the cloud and are instantly deployed using @vercel and @nextjs.

Next steps are:
- Generating better looking UIs (much better! 👀).
- App customization/visually editing the code/app.
- Open-sourcing the code.
