@Gbemmy_sis_888@AdemoyeJohn I'm a very visual learner, so I learn better when I watch these long hour tutorials. I could watch a video for 4 to 5 hours at a go, but I usually pause intermittently to apply whatever concept is taught to a hypothetical problem. This helps it stick faster.
@Gbemmy_sis_888@AdemoyeJohn If you think YouTube videos are long, I wonder what you'll think of Udemy videos that are 20+ hours on average. The truth is that the longer the video, the more useful material it contains, and usually the more in-depth the teacher goes into explaining the concepts.
@AdemoyeJohn Too many unqualified people applying to jobs, hence increasing the barrier for entry, even for the smallest of positions. It's very tough out there and sometimes what newbies need is a reality check, rather than encouragement. TECH IS A VERY DIFFICULT FIELD!!
I recently saw a thread of an AI tool (D-ID) that can turn a single image into a video when given text or an audio file✨
I decided to see if I could build something similar using only #python and #opensource models🐍💕 I managed to do it in a few hours!!!
Here's the result👩🏾💻
I built an app prototype that allows users to try-on sneakers at the comfort of their home using Augmented Reality.
This greatly improves users shopping experience. Follow my software studio @vlabs_io My team and I build cool stuff.
@AdoraNwodo I remember that story as well. RIP to her.
@AdaoraNwodo you were one of my earliest inspirations for switching to tech. I watched a video of yours on YouTube a while ago and it stoked the flames of an already budding interest in software developement. Just wanted to let you know
@jcubic Do you mean that it's pointless asking leetcode questions during interviews because they don't mirror real world problems, or do you mean practicing leetcode problems to prepare for coding interviews is a waste of time?
