@CestDommage If you HAVE to make it work, then it must be a "buy" solution and have the saftey/compliance costs baked in, and the exp should be opt-in, not opt-out. Also with entire governments focus on age-gating reqs, anyone under the age of 16 is forced out without parental approval. /2

I don't think anyone could have done a better job in this genre.
Everything is better -- team fighting, ability management, micro-theory, camera smoothing, shooting mechanics, game pacing.

@TFT What?! Noooo -- the core audience for Hyper Roll is time gated, casual play without having to sacrifice the thematic exploration. It's the opportunity to build the team you want to build out to a 10 stack and not have to think about it too hard.

Having some time this week to explore new titles and tech coming up in the industry has been refreshing. I’m still looking for the next competitive thunderbolt to sink my teeth into though. I haven’t had that feeling of “this is special” yet this decade. Any recommendations?
I’m very passionate about these types of changes for competitive games particularly. They’re good for players and they’re good for the underlying systems. Really appreciate the level of care from the teams to do it right in this case.
