@Sally_writes I encouraged a friend to get mealworms for the robins.
"I wonder how long before they find them?". It was about 20 seconds.
After 5 days of mealworms, robin is tapping on the window to let her know they have finished the most recent offering and need more!!! 🤣🤣🤣
@oalandejani The outside in has the problem of splitting families while boarding.
I did two flights in a 787. Outwards flight we boarded rear first, and on the return flight boarded front first. I think the front first took about as 3 times as long.
The Teams programmer who thought it'd be utterly hilarious to put the "share" button next to the "leave" button was a fucking comedy genius, and should be honoured.
@dunyasalbilim The painting on glass if the original 3, and models and practical effects of the original 3 and TPM were superior to the heavy CGI of Attack of the Clones.
This is true pro-activism. @paulpowlesland is a real British hero.
Actually improving nature despite legal threats and insane Government bodies.
Really puts the environmental virtue-signallers to shame.
Great piece from @Channel4News
@connor_mc_d I'm sceptical of AI, but I'm tempted to give AI a problem that stumped me years ago to see what it makes of it.
Basically I was trying to select stock allocations in a (real) warehouse, to "build" the pallets without going over weight or volume. Had to settle for 1 pallet a loop
@KevinLamb74 One defensive trick would be to "batten down the hatches" as it were, and then turn off the field, all the enemy fighters would be "blown" off the station by the movement of the air, possibly making them easy targets for a bit
@RDPHistory One thing that amused me is that part of the sabre rattling we have to put up is how we used foreign made kit, and would have lost the Falklands without it (esp. Sidewinder and Stinger).
No thought given to how much kit was British. Ships, planes, missiles, small arms.
@Microinteracti1 It's difficult to argue with stupid people, they pull you down to their level. And it's not as if you can truly argue with Trump while he's POTUS. And it's not as if his base cares.
@Shawls259@jamesjhistory@JRGStuff I'm going to say "no", only bits of them such as at Cosford. I hear they have a restored Wellington now, which is pretty special.
@Arkasiraee Have you read about the first sea trials?
They where scheduled to take 2 days and had 3 drone targets available. They managed to shoot all 3 down with just 4 shells.
That they were so effective actually limited their use, they didn't risk their capture and be reverse engineered
@RachelVT42 It's more complicated than "them and us" or "for and against".
And not defending someone just because you don't like them is morally bankrupt.
