Oh fuck, any machine at the gym…they’re so upset they weren’t first they’ll just stand there and watch you, but you can see what they’re thinking…”me first!”
Since nobody reads these anyway, I’m pretty comfortable reporting that the #boomers are really the #mefirst generation. Everything they do, “me first!” Let me know if you’ve noticed this but I know you won’t…
You know React.
You want to learn #ReactNative.
But first you need to spend 4 hours installing:
- Node
- Xcode tools
- Android Studio (12GB!)
- Java JDK
- Watchman
- CocoaPods
I automated all of it.
One script. 15 minutes. Mac & Windows. Done.

I gave AI one prompt.
It wrote 100% of the code.
Part 2: Does it actually work?
Debugging, demoing, and showing you exactly what @augmentcode produced from a single prompt.
No hype. Just reality.

The #1 mistake developers make with AI coding tools:
They start building before they know what they're building.
I did this with Crapper Mapper. 50+ sessions. Weeks of work. Changing features mid-build.
Here's what I should have done instead:
🧵 (1/6)
(5/6) Time investment: 30 minutes.
Time saved: Days to weeks of building the wrong thing.
This is the highest-leverage activity in AI-assisted development.
(4/6) After 15-30 minutes, ask Claude to summarize:
"Write a product spec: target user, core problem, solution, MVP features, and what's explicitly out of scope."
This spec becomes your north star.
(3/6) Claude will surface questions you haven't asked yourself:
- Who specifically is this for?
- What's the ONE core action?
- What's the minimum feature set?
- What are you deliberately NOT building?
- How will you know if it works?
(2/6) Before opening any coding tool, have a PRODUCT CONVERSATION with Claude:
"I want to build [IDEA]. Before I build anything, help me think through this. Ask me questions."
Then let Claude interview you.
