I found an alternate version of Mary's monologue in SH2R's data files, and in this version she has more intense mood swings than in-game.

Many people who played SH2 don't realize it's extremely common for bedridden and terminally ill people to have extreme mood swings, and most of the time they take it out on their caretakers. They don't do it out of hatred, it's their physical and emotional pain "speaking". Losing the life they once had and becoming dependent on others can mentally destroy both the person suffering and those who take care of them.

I felt terrible listening to this 💔 (This recording was most likely an early test, because it's in low quality)

I love these games with all of my heart and they already have a rock solid foundation to build upon and flesh out further, which I'd love to see Capcom try and do.

A remake of these with online play and proximity based voice chat would be insane.
