This is the @codewp_ai v3 feature I'm probably most excited for.

It goes back to our v1 roots of single shot prompting, but incorporates our modes and AI pipelines to generate complete plugins in a single generation.

I expect this to be able to generate very accurate plugins with up to 40k lines of code.

And - the more info you provide, the better the generation is.

@codewp_ai is almost 2 yrs old. It still is very competitive due to the underlying models and the industry specific tooling like AI previews powered by WP Playground. But it's definitely slipping, and things like Cursor are awesome

Sidenote -It's fun to think that we actually built out some of these features before Cursor even existed, like the conversational editing :)

We are currently very focused on bringing AgentWP to market, but also in the early stages of working on CodeWP version 3.0.

This is a complete rewrite that takes an IDE first approach. Ideally it becomes a product that WP developers prefer when building plugins and blocks, as there will be specific tooling like the previews, automated block build processes, snippets, etc. specifically for WP. Nobody has done this before.

Then, we add our AI back in with a chat + completion approach. Basically what Cursor is doing but specifically using our WP models and plugin modes.

I'm most excited about how AI can help PHP based devs transition to JS in the context of block development.

All development stored in the cloud too, so it's portable. Open on any machine to do work.

With this, CodeWP becomes the tool that developers used to create anything code related outside of a specific WP site.

CodeWP will integrate deeply with AgentWP
- really easy to say "take this plugin I just made, test it on staging, then install it on the main site, test again, and let me know how it goes"
- CodeWP generations will be able "ask" a site with AWP installed for real time contextual info to make fore very accurate & site specific info
- With this said, both products are separate and don't need each other to work.

We'll also probably integrate with things like Code Snippets etc. for a non Agent connection with sites.
