I just found out that David Lance Goines died last month. He was 77. He is best known for his poster work, which I'm sure you've seen somewhere before. Here, e.g., is his Bach poster:

@morrick Just read this and couldn't agree more. And its not just software subs - its newsletters, video streaming, cable TV, etc. I'm down to just 4 subs - Word, Photoshop, a typography sub for my site and Netflix Premium. I don't even have a music streaming service anymore.
