@IDCowboy6@td_nash Bruh...
You are cutting against your own argument.
Most Valuable Player is an award for a player's performance... I mean it's in the name. It's not "Most Valuable Team" It's "Most a Valuable Player".
Whereas rings are the consummate team award/accomplishment.
@IDCowboy6@td_nash 2/ Manning has 5 MVP awards
Brady, despite playing 5 seasons longer, only has 4.
On individual performance Manning sits on the throne alone.
Here's your GOAT:
@IDCowboy6@td_nash 1/ You keep saying that but the stats tell a different story.
Especially when you look at individual stats not team stats.
On a list of the top five most touchdowns thrown in a single season...
Peyton holds 2 of those 5.
Brady holds 1.
@IDCowboy6@td_nash Like I said, rings is a team stat.
Brady consistently had better defenses & coaching.
Volume is a longevity stat, Brady.
Manning played 18 yrs.
It took Brady 20 seasons to match tds.
@IDCowboy6@td_nash Brady had to play several more years to meet & beat Peyton's stats.
He never beat Manning's MVPs
Nothing against Brady, he's top 2 all time
However, on individual accomplishments Manning has it
Longevity doesn't equate to greatness
Example, MJ > LeBron James
@IDCowboy6@td_nash Who do you think was a better coach, Dungy or Belichick?
We both know the Belichick maybe one of the GOATS.
Dungy's not in the conversation.
Who consistently had better defenses?
For individual stats? How many yrs after many retired did it take Brady to catch up?
@VinnysCorner1@td_nash There's a reason why Manning has 5 mvps to Brady's 4, despite Brady having played several more seasons.
Peyton is the true GOAT.
Rings are a Team stat, not an individual stat... don't get it twisted.
