It can access web and learn. You can switch models.

@sebastienlorber I did using « Von » which is a another like jevlike , kev, openjev, but seemed to be the most efficient while still small. Running it on vps with cpu but it gave low perfs. But which a simple gpu you get a Jet equivalent ( or even better they claim ) free and local

@sebastienlorber Salut Seb, je te suis depuis le début, j’enseign(ais) le React en Entreprise, école d’ingé sur Udemy ( internationalement) 96% de vente en -, j’ai arrêté. Et en terme de dev au quotidien pour ma boîte je dev avec React mais je ne porte presque plus attention au code :/

@sebastienlorber J’ai fait la plus grande partie de ma carrière sur React mai ça me semble difficile de maintenir l’intérêt des développeurs quand on est maitenant capable de coder sans connaître le langage utilisé :/ Honnêtement je suis encore en deuil

@sebastienlorber Et j’ai personnellement pivoté , je me voilais un peu la face car c’est douloureux,. J’ai embrassé pleinement le mouvement et j’enseigne les outils et concept ia. J’ai creusé sur le coeur ( transformers , attention , RNN etc..) et les couches plus hautes ,mcp,lsp,tools,harness …

@Zoeillle Je ne suis pas certain de comprendre on ne voit pas le détail on voit juste l’avancement de tes fenêtres journalière mensuelle et hebdo. On ne voit pas la consommation. Du coup je comprend pas ce qu’on est sensé voir ^^

@indicemedia_ @OlivierCroisier Il ne dit pas que les ce que les LLM produisent est inutile il explique que la technique pour le produire est extrêmement inefficace en terme de ressources
Si vous étudiez les transformers et la multi head attention vous verrez que la production d’un token est très inefficace

@BraedendotTECH I am even wondering why build something, anyone can do it. I think a part of what made it interesting is that it was actually an achievement to build and connect all this pieces together. And to learn a language or a framework. Damn bro you revived something here haha

@BraedendotTECH 33 here and feeling the same. I’d love being a dev scratching my head and had a lot of pleasure building. Anytime I could have got bored , dev was there since there was an infinity of thing to do. Now I am not thinking anymore just waiting to hear the ding from cursor.

@BraedendotTECH At first I was like ´its fine , I ll stay sharp by asking it to do what I already know, and when I really don’t know ‘ll do it myself’ And it slightly went from that to.. I don’t give a shit , it’s faster to press enter and get some dopamine rush

@thdxr Hello the answer would be the same reason I would be using local llm vs cloud ( I use cloud´s as well )

It’s free, private , no need for an internet connection, and in this case it’s more than enough, no need for a 885B model. And it’s even better for the environnement !
